Meeting rooms are a corporate and business necessity. No matter how much we think it’s a costly affair that doesn’t heed much importance, it is really and highly necessary to have a proper meeting room. I know you might have seen the importance of these meeting rooms in the movies.
It usually goes like this, where the bad guys are usually holed up in their crib in a meeting room. Maybe the bad guy is a group of corporates and businessmen in suit and tie. These people are usually discussing their new master plan and their elaborate to make it work by it all means. Maybe this includes an all in an evil speech by the boss or the main bad guy.
This may also include the professional presentation of how many innocent people this plan would affect per se. but when all this occurs there is our good guy also lurking around the corner planning his bang-bang way to take em all out.
Good guys are always very sidelined towards the importance and the beauty of these meeting rooms. These savers of the day also pay no heed to doors, sometimes breaking them in pure ignorance. Good guys usually come into these rooms, kill those people and take away the boss for investigation.but they also kill them sometimes.
But trust me when I say ignorant, cause they leave these meeting rooms a wasteland of ammunition derby and filled with the blood of their enemies. But enough about the good guys and the bad guys, let’s get into the type of meeting rooms. Well, look into the pros and cons of each of them along with their description.

Types of Meeting Rooms
Boardroom Style
This is the first thing to strike our mind anytime you think of meeting rooms. They are the traditional type of setup, with a long rectangular table in the middle surrounded by chairs on all sides. This type of room is suitable for communication between two proper business groups who want face to face communication between each other.
It can become a hindrance when you want to present something to these people as it can cause stress to point towards a certain direction. It is also only suitable for a smaller group of people and not for a very large group of audience.
Hollow Square Style
This is much suitable for the type of business meeting or conference pertaining to a maximum of 20 people.
This style has tables placed in square shapes with a lot of space in the middle to allow one person there.
The person in the middle can interact with all the people and maybe even promote or discuss certain business ideas.
U- Shaped Style
The name of this type of meeting room is self-explanatory. The tables are arranged in u shape with chairs on all but one side of those tables. This pattern allows a person to walk in the middle of u space to interact with clients or their own staff while presenting a topic.
It can be really easy for the person to explain his point of view and solve doubts with this type of meeting room. But it can prove really frustrating for the clients placed in the corner of the U-shape as they can be at a disadvantage of vision.
Classroom Style
Meeting and events pertaining to longer periods and require a lot of note-taking can be useful for this type. This is your basic classroom type of setting where all the chairs are placed towards a certain direction with a table that can be used to take notes or display a product on presentation.
Proves best if the speaker is mostly about engaging and giving out tasks or explain certain products by five examples.
Banquet Style
The ballroom style of a round table with chairs places around them is the most common example of this style of the meeting room. It serves more than one purpose for a meeting, pertaining to a meeting held up before added dinner or lunch.
When the need is to usually deliver a product presentation or maybe just a present an award ceremony, this becomes relevant. But most of the times this type of setup can become inefficient very easily.
Auditorium Style Setup
This is the most common setup when the crowds are very large and the basic presentation is usually by one speaker. The setup has a number of chairs [oinyed towards the speaker of the presentations screen.
Space occupied by these types is usually very big and acoustically perfect. The number of speakers can be a lot, but the beauty lies with the ability of not requiring much of interaction from the audience.
Places like these are very costly to rent and are for big events like TED talks and TALENT shows.
So, these are the types of meeting rooms available for the use. ‘ All of them are pretty much restricted to a certain use and certain type of event.
